The International House of Pancakes, better known as IHOP, has a good selection of gluten-free options on their menu. The pancakes themselves can be made gluten-free by using buckwheat flour. I enjoyed the above meal at the IHOP in Madison, Wisconsin recently. The bacon, eggs and potatoes were good and the pancakes were decent once I put butter and syrup on them.
The service at that IHOP was great. The waitress was engaging and very funny and did her best to ensure everyone enjoyed their experience. Top notch.
IHOP has a dedicated gluten free menu so you can see all the options. French toast and pancakes are “gluten friendly” as are most of the meat-based sides.
Please keep in mind that this is a gluten “friendly” restaurant, so there is always a risk of cross-contamination.
